Vuelta Pista Track Crankset

Good solid crankset. I put this on a 100mm BB fatbike. They are very strong and well made. A bit heavy but that’s to be expected at this price point. I like that they are a single bolt-on. Most cranksets you buy nowadays come with 2 bolts and a bunch of spacers. This is far easier to work with.

I got these for a single-speed fat bike build. For the price, these are really strong. I’ve never had a problem with them. I guess my only real complaint is that I would have liked the option for a longer arm on the bottom bracket for adjusting the chain line, but for the price, I just got a longer spacer and was able to get it where I want it. Also, I’m using it on a fat bike with a 100mm BB, so I can’t say how it’s going to work on a 29er with a 68mm BB. It is one of the best Vuelta fixie cranksets in the market.

Vuelta MTB Comp Crankset

This is a great crank. Nice finish, no visible defects. It was a bit tricky to remove the original chainrings with this crank on the bottom. I had to use a breaker bar and strap wrench to get the old rings off. The square taper aluminum adapter was a bit out of spec on my Shimano 68mm crank. I had to use a small hammer to get it to seat on the crank. It would have been better to have it fit the way it’s supposed to.

I had a dedicated 22T cross bike for three years, and the crank/BB finally gave out. I had been hoping to find a replacement, and this was the cheapest option I found. It was a good compromise of weight and durability. I was able to install the crank with a little modification to the BB shell. The chainrings were a little too narrow. The 22T could be installed, but the 44T and 32T chainrings would not go on. I eventually found a crank that had a chainring that was slightly wider, and I was able to get the old ring off and the new one on.

The Vuelta Corsa Comp Crankset Black Square Taper

It’s a Vuelta crankset, so it’s going to perform well and last a long time. The bottom bracket, however, is Shimano, which is not ideal for me. I would have preferred an Italian-made one, but I’m sure it will do the job. I’ve had no problems with the crankset so far. It’s been smooth and trouble-free.

The 108B track crankset is built with the same high-quality materials as the rest of Vuelta’s track components. Aluminum 6061 is used for the crankset, which dries quickly and doesn’t rust easily. I had a spare set of square taper cranks and thought I’d try this. It’s such a good price that even if it didn’t work, I could just throw it away. It’s very well priced and it’s well made. I’ve swapped out the chainrings for a square taper one.
